i dont think i'm going to tell them that i reload because its destroying the headstamp on factory ammo as well. if i do need to send it back i'll probably take it to someone with an ultrasonic cleaner...

I think your friend is either inexperienced with the 50 or full of beans. Off hand at 100 yards I find it to be accurate.
